Steve :

When the car shuts off does the dash look like someone turned the key off?

JACUSTOMER-7c2eeq9k- : The dash light stays on,however the key remains in the driving I have to turn it back to remove the key and try starting again.yeah just like someone turned the key off.
JACUSTOMER-7c2eeq9k- : Have not heard from u
Steve :

So the oil and battery lights come on when it shuts off?

JACUSTOMER-7c2eeq9k- : The oil and battery lights do not come on when it shuts.
Steve :

This is a sign that the electrical portion of the ignition switch has failed. In the USA at least you can get just the electrical portion and replace it so you will not need new keys.

JACUSTOMER-7c2eeq9k- : Well I live in the UK,so can I get the electrical portion of the ignition switch,& how much will it cost.
Steve :

I think you still should be able to get on from the Honda dealer there. the USA price is about $70.00

JACUSTOMER-7c2eeq9k- : Do I have to change the car keys and get it programmed
Steve :

No you would not have to if you just replace the electrical portion of the switch.
