The steering wheel in either goes..possible causes

I hear a squeaking sound when I turn the steering wheel in either direction. The squeaking sound is also present when my car goes over bumps. What are the possible causes?

There are 3 items that come to mind that could cause this:
The upper ball joints
The lower ball joints
The sway bar links could be squeaking over bumps but may just be the ball joints .
