Customer Question

I need to replace the "Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor 2" on my 2006 Honda Civic EX -- What is the official Honda part # XXXXX ordering a replacement? Is the ECT Sensor 2 the same as "Water Temperature Sensor" ? I am having trouble finding the part online to order - despite many posts of civic owners needing to replace this part. When I went to the Honda Dealership to order the part, they had no idea what was an ECT2 Sensor.

Optional Information:
Gender: Male
Age: 28

Already Tried:
I went to Autozone and used the OBD II scanner as my check engine light was on. It came back with P0111 (MAF/IAT) and P2183 (ECT 2) -- according to TSB put out on this problem, I probably dont need to replace the MAF/IAT becuase the problem is the ECT2. (Per http://www.in.honda.com/Rjanisis/pubs/SN/a080300.PDF ).

Its in the bottom of the radiator the pin usually rots and breaks off the sensor so when you remove the connector make sure there is no piece of the only sensor in the connector.Heres the part number.
