2001 honda accord radio/cd shows error code ErrE. CD's were stuck in 6-CD change (original). Radio, CD and cassette won't play. CD's were removed. Unit will still not play. Can this be fixed at home or does it need service by dealer?Thanks, XXX@XXXXXX.XXX

Hello, I can help you with this. Do you have the correct code?Did it say error e as soon as the radio was first turned on or did you enter the code a few times?
I believe I have the correct code in the original owner's manual.
I believe the error said "e" when the radio was turned on. I think I entered the code incorrectly a few times and then it showed error "ErrE"

Ok, good. You will have to disconnect the battery for a few minutes to reset the radio.
After you reconnect it, it will display CODE . Enter the 5 digit code.
If it doesn't work, stop and get back to me.
