What happens if you put automatic transmission fluid where power steering fluid goes in a 1998 Honda Accord EX?

NOthing.. they are interchangeable. The only difference between power steering fluid, and transmission fluid, is the detergents in the transmission fluid are not there in the power steering fluid. Becase of this reason.. you can use transmission fluid in the power steering system, but it is not recommended to use power steering fluid in the transmission.. plus it is so much more expensive than transmission fluid.
