Quick clarification:

- Why you had to import java.io.ObjectInputStream.GetField?

- in the "major" comments wit have * @param cards and * @return, what do they mean?

- for certains "for loops" you have numberOfCards - 2 or firstCardCounter + 1or numberOfCards - 1. For instance, for numberOfCards - 2 do you mean 2 cards before the last number of cards and firstCardCounter + 1 you mean a card after the first counter?

- str = String.format("%-20s%-20s", "Left hand:", "Right hand:"); why you have "%-20" or what does it mean.

Hope I didn't overwhelm you with the question. Thank you

Is not needed you can remove it

- in the "major" comments wit have * @param cards and * @return, what do they mean?
Those are java doc annotation. @param means - Parameter pased to method, @return means return value from method. You can add text next to it Explaining the usage of parameter

numberOfCards - 2 - Is used when we have 2 loops genearlly..inner loop would iterate through secondCardCounter <= numberOfCards - 1 meaning till second last card. This is used when we are comapring 2 cards. Example 1 and 2, 2 and 3, 3 and 4

- str = String.format("%-20s%-20s", "Left hand:", "Right hand:"); why you have "%-20" or what does it mean.
Please read String.format for details on that. it is used for formatting.
