This is a structural engineering question with a BEAM AND LOADS. Can some one help me resolve this beam problem..I need all the work to be shown including the diagrams. Questions are up in the botXXXXX XXXXXnk. Let me know ASAP

Questions are up-->http://www.mediafire.com/view/?myfiles#nnccs1yy0531u9u,full

A. Find the reaction force on Ra and Rb?

B. shear force Diaram (Show Values in Diagram)?

C. Moment Diamgram (show values on Diagram)?

D. What is the deformation at L/2?

Further, indicate time in hours by which you would like to have answers for these questions.

I must have the answer by tomorow...http://www.mediafire.com/view/?myfiles#

The link is still not working. Kindly upload the figure in some other site sharing site such as wikisend. I will try to reply today itself.

the file is working in my computer perfectly

It may be working perfectly in your computer as it is stored as 'my files' but here it is not working. Make the link public; then I will be able to open it.

Thanks. This link worked and I got the figure. I will try to upload the answer today itself.
Reactions, bending moment and shear force have been calculated. For calculating deflection, moment of inertia(I) is required. For this, beam cross section is required.
Something about beam is given in top most right corner. I just want to confirm it.
Here are answers. Kindly forward moment of inertia value so that deflection can also be calculated.

Kindly rate the answers. BONUS will be appreciated.

Inertia=103 in4

inertia=103

Customer: replied 4 years ago.

inertia=103.... Remember you are calcuating deflection for L/2 and Deflection Max at the bottom..

Thanks. I will calculate it shortly.

The answer I have is .34 In

1st one is =.28

and the 2nd on is=.06 in

Which gives me total of .34 in..I get the answer my problem is doing diagram..I dont understand..can you check to see if I have the righ answer or not?

Thanks for rating answer as excellent.
What formulas are given for calculating deflection in answers are for deflection at L/2. We have to put the numerical values and calculate deflection.
I want some clarification regarding units.
Distributed load = 1 kips, what is this kips; kindly describe it.
Moment of inertia = 103in^4; is it correct as unit of moment of inertia is in mass-distance^2. Kindly check it.

1 kips=1000 poung

Inertia was given in the book for the steel w12 x16

Customer: replied 4 years ago.

1000 pound

OK. I will calculate now.
