Reactions, bending moment and shear force have been calculated. For calculating deflection, moment of inertia(I) is required. For this, beam cross section is required. Something about beam is given in top most right corner. I just want to confirm it.

I want some clarification regarding units. Distributed load = 1 kips, what is this kips; kindly describe it. Moment of inertia = 103in^4; is it correct as unit of moment of inertia is in mass-distance^2. Kindly check it.
