Kathy question 2 of 6. Due monday afternoon: What if the homework

This answer was rated:

Kathy question 2 of 6. Due monday afternoon: What if the homework situation is not so much defiance on the student's part as it is home issues that are keeping them from performing work outside of the classroom?

-What if they simply are having difficulty with the subject matter and are too shy or embarrassed to approach the teacher?

-As you stated, the repetition of the same assignment can get to the point where it is also a waste of time. You suggest changing it up, but you seem to support repeating it for a while - definitely an essentialist leaning. What if the student was required to complete the missing homework assignment rather than the standard state capitol exercise? Or does this give a student permission to "blow off" homework if they can just do it the next day during recess?

Kathy :

I will complete on a timely manner. Thanks
