Part I

An effective argument must address opposing viewpoints. Write a paragraph which addresses a significant opposing viewpoint with supporting reasoning and evidence from sources. Cite paraphrased or quoted material from sources correctly within paragraph. Include APA reference citations for sources cited in the paragraph.

Part II

Next, reply to two different peers and evaluate the strength of their counter-arguments. Do you note any unsupported assertions or logical fallacies which weaken their counter-arguments? Identify them and explain what would make the counter-argument more effective. Write a paragraph explaining your response.
