I) a) z = (0.5 - 5.2)/3.8 = -1.237
So, z-interval is z ≤ -1.237

b) For x=-2, z = (-2 - 5.2)/3.8 = -1.895
For x=2.9, z = (2.9 - 5.2)/3.8 = -0.605
So, z-interval is -1.895 ≤ z ≤ -0.605


II) d) For z=2.8, x=5.2+2.8*3.8 = 15.84
So, x-interval is x ≥15.84

e) for z = -1, x = 5.2-1*3.8 = 1.4
For z=2.5, x = 5.2+2.5*3.8 = 14.7
So, x-interval is 1.4 ≤ x ≤ 14.7


III) 1) 0.01
2) 0.98

IV) 2.53
