I have done a science project where I make a ball out of corn

This answer was rated:

I have done a science project where I make a ball out of corn bread and water. I then place and flatten it on two pieces of paper that are overlapped. I had to put tension , shear, and compression stress on it. Every time that I did that the corn meal just broke down the middle. Does this sound right? Also what would be a geographic example of each of these types and where they might occur. Thanks
