How do I separate two pieces of aluminium that have been joined together with two part epoxy resin with minimum damage to either alu piece
Immersion into boiling water for 20 minutes usually softens the epoxy enough that it will come unglued.Alternatively, soaking it in acetone should loosen the epoxy without major corrosion of the aluminum.I hope this information is helpful.
pieces too big to immerse in water or acetone, would hot air gun heat applied locally suffice? is so how hot 100C ?
