Hi,

hello

Do you want to solve it or do you want to rationalize the denominator.

You need an equation to solve for the unknown.

So I assume you want to simplify it.

Multiply both the nominator and the denominator by (4 - i)

= (3 + 4i)(4 - i) / (4 + i)(4 - i)

On the homework assignment I have it states to divide and simplify using the form a+bi

I am just no good with these kind of equations and I ahve about ten left I can not answer

= (3*4 - 3*i + 4*4i - 4i*i) / (4*4 - 4*i + 4*i - i*i)

= (12 - 3i + 16i + 4) / (16 + 1)

= (16 + 13i) / 17

Let me know if you have any questions.

the homework that Id o is online so it tells whne when putting that in if correct or not and it was not correct thats the naswer I got as well

So he changed the problem on me

now the problem is (3+6i)/(6+1)

Is it 6 + i on the bottom?

yes this one is

ok. I think I understand what the problem is.

In the previous question,

the correct form should have been 16/17 + 13/17 i

Let's do this question now,

= (3 + 6i)/(6 + i)

= (3 + 6i)(6 - i) / (6 + i)(6 - i)

yes that was correct these questions and the square root questions are really getting to me

= (18 - 3i + 36i + 6) / (36 - 6i + 6i + 1)

= (24 + 33i) / 37

= 24/37 + 33/37 i

correct

This should be correct now.

so can I ask you many questions or do I have to go different with each question this is new to me

You can do either way. But the amount you selected is not appropriate (in my opinion) for multiple questions.

see this is new to me so how do I change it and the way the contract read when I signed up was 38.oo a month so I have to pay for
