Order by steps from 1 to 8

*Drain freely into the receiver container, wait 5 seconds after flow stops and touch off last drop to transfer all of the calibrated volume.

*Before starting the transfer rinse the pipet by partially filling it with liquid to be delivered-- do not get liquid in bulb.

*Now fill the pipet with liquid to above the calibration mark or line with suction from bulb -- without getting liquid in the bulb.

*When done, rinse pipet with tap water and then distilled water before storing.

*Remove bulb and immediately cover the top of the pipet stem with your index finger.
Adjust level so the bottom of the meniscus is on the calibration mark by slow release of pressure.

*Wipe the excess liquid off the lower stem and tip of pipet.

* Before starting make sure that the pipet is clean and is not chipped.
