Resolved Question:

This is not a homework question but a discussion that several of us silly adults would like the answers to. Thanks. Cathy, business owner.

If you are standing in the back of a truck that is moving and you shoot a gun, does the feet/second that the bullet travels and the feet/second that the truck travels get added together to become the speed of the bullet? As in, the bullet goes faster because it has had a "push".
And here is the other question--
If nothing can go faster than the speed of light and you fire a gun traveling at the speed of light, what happens to the bullet's velocity? And, because we know that light can bend, would the path of the bullet traveling at the speed of light bend also?
