Thank you for using Just Answer!

If the glass rod has gained a positive charge by rubbing then that means it has actually LOST electrons. The answer to your question is that it has not gained any electrons, but has actually transferred electrons to the item it was rubbed with.

Customer replied 1328 days and 16 hours ago.

I understand, however it is asking me how many were lost. The answer is 3.1 x 10^10, but I do not know how to get this number.
