Again, if it is downstream it is d/(v1+v2)=12/(60+30)=0.1333 hours or 8 min.
but if the bout goes upstream (in this case river will push the bout downstream in any way) you get the following solution d/(v1-v2)=12/(60-30)=0.4 hours or 24 min.

Possible answers: 8 min or 24 min.
