Hello, I would like to help you with your question concerning the use of Low Dose Naltrexone (LDN) to treat Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA). LDN in doses of 3 to 4.5mg taken once per day before bed has certainly been used effectively to treat RA in some individuals, though it is not an FDA approved treatment for this condition. My opinion is that LDN is safer than Methotrexate with perhaps fewer side-effects and lower risk of toxicity. Personally, I have not had the chance to use LDN for RA because I have had success using other natural therapies to treat RA. Would you like more details on any of these topics? Dr. Zeoli
