Home Theater Questions? Ask a Technician for Answers ASAP
Hi and welcome to the site, I’m Louie. Sorry you had to wait awhile but I’ll do my best to help.
Initially, would this be a Bose Wave radio?
If yes, please remove the 9V backup battery and unplug the radio for an extended period of time. The idea is to hopefully simulate a soft RESET. Thereafter, install new 9V battery and try plugging back in the Bose.
If symptom persists, then it would be an internal hardware issue.
Are you then considering a DIY (do-it-yourself) repair approach? If yes, do you have access to and familiar with a multi-meter and even a soldering iron?
To my recollection, there were several versions not only models. Still, let me check if I have a Service manual or at least a schematic.
