I have connected a new Blu Ray via HDMI to my new Yamaha

Customer Question

I have connected a new Blu Ray via HDMI to my new Yamaha Amp. I'm seeing no picture from the TV
JA: What's the exact make and model of your television? And have you done any troubleshooting yourself?
Customer: I've connected the Blu Ray direct via HDMI to the TV and that's all ok. As soon as it's connected to the Home Theatre Amp (Yamaha RX-v781) I see no picture.
JA: What happened right before this popped up? What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: The Blu Ray is new, works fine direct in the TV.
JA: Anything else you want the theater expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: All other HDMI devices through the Home Theatre work fine.
