Home Theater Questions? Ask a Technician for Answers ASAP
Hi Dave and welcome to the site, I’m Louie. Sorry you had to wait awhile but I’ll do my best to help.
Initially, have you tried unplugging for an extended period of time? ...and then plugging back in and trying with no speaker/wires connected?
...as well as a RESET ?
Appreciate the additional information.
The described symptom and results of what have been tried would almost always point to an internal hardware issue.
Are you then considering a DIY (do-it-yourself) repair approach? If yes, do you have access to and familiar with a multi-meter and even perhaps a soldering iron?
Equally important, would you be comfortably familiar working on the internal circuitry? ...LIVE?
Great on the DIY!
"...Seems all DC voltages are within range..."; including the standby voltage?
No prob; when conveniently able.
