I cannot get my Marantz SR5009 to supply a video signal

Customer Question

Hi I cannot get my Marantz SR5009 to supply a video signal through my Sony TV via ARC port. I get sound but no video
JA: What's the make/model number of your stereo? How old is it?
Customer: SR5009 and about 2 years old. The TV is Sony X93D. Just purchased the TV a few weeks ago
JA: What happened right before this popped up? What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: I have tried various HDMI settings but cannot get any picture. Sky TV the satelitte version comes through fine in HDMI
JA: Anything else you want the theater expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: Similar issue with the Sony Bluray player. Sound no video. Blu Ray is also about 2 years old.

So you are getting audio through the marantz, but no video to the tv? Can you see the marantz menus on screen at all?
