Home Theater Questions? Ask a Technician for Answers ASAP
Welcome. I am Mike, an experienced field technician. We are now connected together on this convenient website where I am able to help you. To get started, I need to know you can see this message and are able to reply to me here...
-Is this a BOSE system?
-How long have you had it?

It's ok for now....
First suggestion is to unplug the unit's POWER cord for 3 full minutes. Plug back in, test for normal operation.
Next would be to use a CD/DVD cleaner Disc in the player. These do a much much better job than just blowing compressed air into the unit: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B003EEMDMC
If those don't help then the laser inside the unit needs to be serviced by an authorized Bose service center: http://www.service-center-locator.com/bose/bose-service-center.htm
Let me know how else I can help. Use the REPLY option or you may submit a 3 to 5 star rating at the top of this page now. Rating does not close your question or prevent future replies which are at no additional cost.
Thanks and have a great day!
