Hi, thank you for contacting JustAnswer.com. My name is Russell. I will do my best to provide the right answer to your question.

I presume that you have cable service, if it is Comcast you are connecting.

Please tell me what TV you are connecting - it will help me put the advice, or the diagram, in less general and vague terms.

I will have a 49" tv, a Blu-ray dvd player and a TiVo to record tv programs.

Hi Russell.
i don't see an answer here. Am I not doing something right ?
Expert:  Russell H. replied 2 months ago.

I have not gotten the answer together yet.

Do you not know, yet, what maker and model of TV you will have? that makes putting together instructions somewhat harder, and less specific. Please make that clear, before I give you your answer. Thanks.

It is a Panasonic.

I regret to have to apologize: I was taken with a severe illness, and was not able to complete your answer.

I will probably be unable to complete your answer in the foreseeable future. With apologies again, I have Opted Out of this case, giving it up to other Experts.

Hello, Bob.
Can you tell me which model tv you will have, and which model tivo?

Do you know which comcast box you will have?

Customer: replied 1 month ago.
Are you serious? You want model numbers on everything??? Its a simple hook up.
Comcast will use the modern version of their rg59 cable to connect everything.
What's the hard part?I just wanted to reassure myself on the order to hook-up things.
I'v already figured it out myself and will see if the installer agrees.on the installation.

A third technician. Forget it. I've already got it done.
Expert:  Nathan replied 1 month ago.

No, it isn't strictly necessary but if you wanted diagrams and specifics it would be helpful, especially with a tivo involved as there are some compatibility issues to consider as well.

I'll opt out as well if you no longer want help.

Have a nice day.
