Home Theater Questions? Ask a Technician for Answers ASAP
Hi, I'm Nathan.Sorry to hear that you're having trouble with this but I'll do my best to help you.
What you are experiencing does point to a hardware problem, likely the result of damage from a power surge when the power went out.
What we can try here first is a reset process:
1) Unplug the power cord from the outlet
2) Wait at least 1 hour (60+ Minutes)
3) Press and hold the power button for 60 seconds4) Keep holding power button while plugging back in, and for another 60 seconds after. When plugging back in, go directly to the wall outlet, bypassing any power strips or surge protectors.
Let me know the results and I"ll advise further if needed.
On the top press the ALARM MODE button, after you've set the alarm time, until it shows a music note on the display, which puts it into music alarm mode (instead of beeping).
