Customer Question

I have a Denon PMA 1500 SE from Japan and just moved to Australia. I bought a 500W step-down transformer so that it would work on 240V instead of 100V. However it works fine for 2 or 3 tracks but then cuts out and goes into standby mode. Can you help please.

Hi Adrian, I’m Louie. Sorry you had to wait awhile but I’ll do my best to help.

Initially, have you checked with a volt/multi-meter that indeed the output of the step-down transformer is 100VAC ? ...consistent?
