I just bought a new Yamaha RX-A750 HDMI front indicator is flashing red HDMI OUT --- when I try any signal, nothing is coming up on my Epson Powerlite pro cinema projector HDMI out is still working correctly on my old Yamaha RX-V2600?????

The message indicates you're not getting any type of signal through the Yammy. Which source have you selected? Do you have the same message if you try to select another source?

exactly --- HDMI 1,2,3 etc --- I've also tried all other input to the main HDMI output, could the HDMI possibly be bad????

it occasionally blinks with the Yamaha piano logo image

Please unplug the Yamaha from power. The replace the HDMI out to the TV with a new HDMI cable. Plug the receiver back in and let me know if you have the same problem regardless of selecting AV 1, AV 2, or AV 3.
