Hi and welcome to JustAnswer,

Thank you for the question and your patience. Should you still need assistance for information purposes only...

Initially, is this a fresh/new installa? ...or has it been in used with the center speaker working with this issue just recent?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
It was working yesterday. Turned on home stereo system and no center speaker or very very faint sound
Expert:  Louie replied 1 year ago.

I understand.

Settings and connections were not changed?

Have you checked the rear of the Pioneer? ...speaker? ...its wires please?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Nothing changed. Checked wires all good

What should settings be?
Expert:  Louie replied 1 year ago.

The settings would largely depend on how the Pioneer was initially/previously setup. If nothing was known to be changed, then perhaps you may want to consider / try a RESET. A reset would serve as both a test and an attempt of a fix.

Please post back how you would want to approach this and/or should additional information be needed.

How do you do that?
Expert:  Louie replied 1 year ago.

As posted above, reset is both a test and a try of a fix. As it implies, a reset would force the unit to revert back to factory defaults removing glitches and config errors but would include memories, presets and user preferences. After a reset, the initial setup would have to be performed. If have not been done and should you venture to try: please click HERE.

May have to be done a number of times.

This is very critical - a reset however would not be corrective of an internal hardware concern; but it would be confirmed. In some instances, it may even expose other issues.
