hi I have an ifi klipsch system I used with my first ipod, I disconnected it and moved and now I can slightly hear the music and loud static humming and don't know why

Make sure the connector is neither dirty nor broken. And that pins on it are not bent, nor dirty, either on the Klipsch side, and on the side of the cable or connector on the iPod.
