Customer Question

I have a wave system. The top component disc player doesn't work. It took my disc, doesn't play it, and won't eject it. The other 3-disc component works fine.

Hi, I am Tech Michael and I will be assisting you today.

Please be patient as these are technical questions that may require a bit of conversation to solve. Also remember to be detailed in your description of the problem. That will help me make a diagnosis quickly for you.

How old is your Bose system?

also were there any power outages or storms just prior to this event?

Thank you for choosing Just Answer.

Not sure exactly how old. Maybe 8 years old.
No power outages.

Hi thanks for that. This is one in need of a simple tune up. The trouble is that Bose doesn't sell the parts it will need. Instead, you need to send it in for service.

It is worth the fix but it will need a belt for the carriage and an internal guide assembly cleaning and lube service.

The best place to have this done is Norbern Repair Service.
