Do you have sound from any other of the dish channels?
Did you verify that the denon was set to the proper input mode to pick up the dish?
Well I don't know how your system is set up. TV may be correct.
Check the cabling, does the hdmi cord from the dish box go to the TV hdmi port on the denon? Or is it on the cable/sat port?You would manually adjust inputs using the source buttons (up/down) on the front of the denon, or the denon remote, if the universal remote isn't operating it properly.
Thank you for the update, it sounds like it is working for you now?Rebooting the box would have been the next step if we had determined the denon was on the proper input. If I had known that initially it would have isolated the issue to being with the box, and we would have proceeded with the reset then.
