Hi and welcome back to JustAnswer,Thank you for the question and your patience. Should you still need assistance for information purposes only...Initially, is this a fresh install? ...or the Kenwood has been in use for some time and this issue just recent?
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I just hooked it up. Shows the radio stations. Tried Cd player. No sound at all.

I understand.A review:• speaker/speaker wires correctly connected;• SPEAKER selector switch correctly engaged and volume raised;• jumper connecting ADAPTOR IN and OUT (or alternatively, a spare RCA-to-RCA). Please post back results / observations of the above once re-checked.

Correctly hooked up. Older receiver. Could it be something internal?

Sorry, bear with me; is there a jumper connecting the jacks of the ADAPTOR IN and OUT (or alternatively, use a spare RCA-to-RCA) ?
