Hi, What are you connecting the Logitech speakers to please, and were they working before with this device?
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Mac desktop, and were working well before
Expert:  Aric replied 1 year ago.
Okay, are these speakers connecting using the headphone jack cable, or via USB? If using the headphone plug, can you remove the cable from the Mac, turn the speakers up all the way- then tap your finger on the end of the cable? Please let me know if there is a buzz or hum from the speakers when you tought the end of the cable?
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
using optical cable in mac socket
Expert:  Aric replied 1 year ago.
Okay, do you have another device you can connect to the Mac speakers using the optical to see if the issue is with the mac or the speakers?
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I only have headphones, and they work well through the headphones plug
Expert:  Aric replied 1 year ago.
Have you tried a reboot of the Mac by completely shutting it down and powering it back on?
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Yes didn't help, but I need to tell you I get all the lights showing that they're on via the front facia, but no sound
