Hello there and welcome to Just Answer. My name is ***** ***** I will be assisting you today. I am an engineer with over 30 years of electrical and electronic training, repair and installation experience. I will try and answer your question accurately and precisely so that we can get you on your way. I need to gather some more information from you in order to help. It sounds like the BluRay is connected but the discs that you are playing do not show up on the TV. Can you give me the title of one of the BluRays? Were the player and the BluRays purchased in the USA? Please let me know so that we can continue.
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I MAX UNDER THE SEA Blue Ray 3D
Yes both were purchased in the USA
Expert:  Steve G. replied 1 year ago.
Is the BluRay player 3D? Is the TV 3D compatible? Are you trying to play the 3D version of the movie? Try playing the regular version. Let me know what happens.

It won't let me select either one! It work fine before I moved it upstairs!
Thanks for your help!!

How is the player connected to the TV? What kind of cable or cables?
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I have the 3 jacks yellow, red and white connected to the TV
Expert:  Steve G. replied 1 year ago.
Ok, that is why. You can't get high definition using those three cables. Can you give me the model number of the Sony player and I'll see if there are settings we can adjust.

Ok, I want you to grab the remote for the BluRay player and select the Setup icon on your TV screen. It looks like a suitcase. When you have that, select 'Screen Settings'. Let me know when you are there.
