Customer Question

How do I get rid of hum coming out of my sub woofer? It is hooked up to a DRA 1035.

Already Tried:
Moving the speaker wire up off the floor and away from power lines did't work. The Sub is a HSU 12" powered by 1 channel through the CD input from a "Y" splitter off the sub output of an AVR 4802. The other side of the "Y" is connected to a powered M&K 12" woofer by a shielded cable and hAS no problem.

If you uplug the RCA cable from the HSU subwoofer, does it still have the hum?

If you leave it connected, and disconnect the M&K subwoofer from the RCA cable, does the HSU sub still hum?

Have you changed out the AC Input to another location to see if it still hums?

How long have you had the sub for and when did the problem occur?
