I just found my Bose Bluetooth Headset Series 2 in the washer,

Resolved Question:

I just found my Bose Bluetooth Headset Series 2 in the washer, now I don't have any power to it. Any suggestions?

Unfortunately, the worse thing you could have done was to put it back on the charger or turn it on.

Did you try to dry it out yet? and if you did, how did you do it?

So what do I do next? Is it salvagable or do I need to send it to bose for repair.

I let it sit and dry for a couple of hours

Ok. the only chance you have left to salvage the unit is to keep it turned off, and place it in a bag of uncooked raw rice for 4-5 dyas. The rice will draw out whatever moisture left inside.

Whenever you have electronics that get wet like that the thing that kills them most of the time if turning them on while they are wet inside.


 

pbmfixs :

Anytime this happens again you should turn the device off and take out the battery if you can. Then place it ion rice to dry out.

I have the same earpiece you have. I love it.

If after 5 days the ear piece still does not work you will need to send it into Bose for repairs if it can be repaired.
