Joe, Its a Bose Lifestyle model 20 music center PN 178202-001. It must be 15 years old. My wife won it as a award.

Hello. My name is XXXXX XXXXX X can assist you. Generally, if the magazine is stuck, there is generally mechanical damage to the changer, or the magazine itself. There are sensors within the unit, that tell the microprocessor what "state" or mode, the unit is in. Apparently, the micro will not come out of that mode, until, at the very least, the magazine is ejected, and or the transport is repaired. Generally, there are gears that crack or break with age. If you can remove the magazine, that may take care of the issue, until of course, you reinsert it.

I believe that answers your question. If you would, please take a moment to rate my answer. A rating of 3-5, will insure that I am compensated for my time and expertise.

Thank you very much, and have a good evening.
