hi i just bought the pyle radio and 4 channel plmrmp3a amplifier

hi i just bought the pyle radio and 4 channel plmrmp3a amplifier and not sure how to wire them based the directions that came with them. how does the radio connect to the amplifier. thanks alan

this is a pyle boat stereo and a 4 channel marine amp

Depending on the model of the Pyle stereo, proposed wiring connections:

  • • radio's yellow wire and amp's red wire to an always available +12 such as the battery's + terminal;
  • • radio's red wire to a switched +12 such as the ignition switch's ACC terminal;
  • • amp's blue wire to radio's blue wire;
  • • radio's and amp's black wire to the battery's - terminal not only the wiring harness ground;
  • • radio speaker wires need not be connected and taped/covered individually for isolation;
  • • radio's gray cable with red & white RCA plugs to RCA splitters similar to the image shown below (if 4 speakers connected to amp);
  • • splitter's female jacks to the amps red & white RCA jacks using two (2) pairs of RCA to RCA cable;
  • • amp's speaker wires to speakers.
