Customer Question

I have a Pioneer VSX-LX52 Amp. I have just noticed that neither rear speakers are working. I have plugged them into the output sockets for the front speakers and they work, so I know it's not the speakers themselves it's the Amp not sending a signal out to them. I've messed about with the different types of sound surround, but the rears still wont work.

Hi there happy to help.

It sounds like you have your receiver in STEREO mode. This will cause the rear speaker issue you are having.

When listening to a source press RECIEVER on the remote and then press the AUTO/ALC/Direct button.

This will take you out of Stereo mode.

Let me know,

Some that. It scrolls through some various inputs (direct, auto, ALC), but still through the front speakers only
