My Nakamichi BX-2 cassette deck is used infrequently, and has started behaving badly! When I put a cassette in and press the play button, it plays for about 5 seconds, then stops. If I do this a couple of times it starts unwinding the tape. Any suggestions?Thanks

Thanks for response. If the problem is capstan belt, I assume this could be replaced as DIY easily. Otherwise I would plobably be more comfortable having a service centre do the job.
