only one channel works on play and record
Already Tried: reversed cables
Hi, I’m a moderator for this topic and I wonder whether you’re still waiting for an answer. If you are, please let me know and I will do my best to find an Expert to assist you right away. If not, feel free to let me know and I will cancel this question for you. Thank you!
Hi Michelle. No one has responded to my question. I did reverse the cables and the same channel did not have sound. I was going to open the deck and see if there was two fuses, one for each channel. However the screws were very tight. Also looked at the 3 heads and they looked to be in alinement. Ok all for now Michelle.
Thank you and all the best for you
and yours in this new year.
Jim

Is the $12 stil in my acc? All this is amazing. Thank Benimur

Yes. RCA cable that runs from amp to cass deck. Also used headphones direct into cass deck. Same channel down.
I understand.Offhand and based on the described symptoms, it would almost always be an internal hardware issue. Unfortunately, no quick/easy fix and neither is there a workaround.
