Hi Jason, I’m Louie. Sorry you had to wait awhile but I’ll do my best to help.

Initially, bear with us; re-confirm and post back with the complete model number of the Swann product; something like an HDK8-8050

For some reason, SWHDR88050H is reported back as a non-valid Swann product. Could it possibly be a SWHDK-880508?

Still, do you have Administrative priveleges for this DVR?

I was using the admin default password ***** but changed it and cant remember what it is. Thats why im trying to reset it.vhow do i bypass the password ***** make a new one.

Depending on the version, there would be a small button switch inside at the circuit board. Pressing on this switch would delete all presets and revert the system to factory defaults.

Ive already opend it and looked. It wasnt there. The label under the dvr says SWHDR 88050H.
