I just purchased a Lorex nr808 model and the default

Customer: I just purchased a Lorex nr808 model and the default password ***** came with it does not work ;(
JA: How long has this been going on?
Customer: Just two days ago I purchased it directly from Lorex
JA: What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: All types of password, for defaults nothing working

If so, then you will have to contact Lorex, and tell them your proofs of identity, after connecting the Lorex box up to the internet (through an Ethernet cable to your local router box.) They are the only ones who can reset your password ***** you.

Hi there and welcome

take a paper clip, and push it in the reset button (which should be at the back of the device ) for 10-15 seconds.

Then once done, allow 2 minutes to reset then try the default password *****
