Hi, thank you for contacting JustAnswer.com. My name is Russell. I will do my best to provide the right answer to your question.

Brinks Home Security was spun off to Broadview Security, which ceased operations in 2010.

ADT has taken over some of Brinks Home Security's purview - they can be contacted at

1-***-***-****.

Or is it a Safe you are asking about, not a home security alarm system box ?

If a Safe, you might have no recourse, given that Brinks Home Security has gone out of business, except to contact First Alert, which has taken some of Brinks Home Security's safes on.

Their contact information regarding safes with forgotten or lost combinations is

http://www.firstalert.ca/faqs/SAFES/safes1

and that includes instructions.

A default code to an alarm system box might be

1111

which is sometimes not changed, and is an 'engineer code' default value on some systems.
