I discontinued my ADT account 2 years ago. The alarm went off and continues to buzz. I don't know how to stop it. Please help.
JA: How long has this been going on?
Customer: About 8 hours.
JA: What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: I have forgotten how to trouble shoot the system. I called ADT 2 years ago to ask them to totally disconnect the system & they refused.

Is anything showing on the control panel?

This may be due to a low backup battery, or some other fault.

If you want to totally disconnect the system, a local electrician should be able to remove the power supply and backup battery quite easily to stop the buzzing and alarm.
