alarm is armed , but no alarm m replaced keypad nx-1300E. Tested *4 for sound. what has to be done?

Have you tried a real life test instead of the *4 command? (really arm it and let the exit time expire and then open a window or door that does not have an entry delay) It sounds like you might have but I can't be sure.

2 other questions are why did you need to replace the keypad and what is the model of the control panel?

If you have access to the inside of your control the model number would be listed on the inside of the door on the diagram sticker.
