i need help viewing my security camera footage on my computer, i have a swan security system at my place of business

 



Already Tried:
i have hooked it up to my laptop with a usb cable and downloaded the the netviewer and playback programs

What is the model of your DVR?

What version of windows are you using in your laptop?

Connect the DVR to your computer and on your computer go to "My Computer" and see if your DVR is show there...

If not then try a different lead..

In my first request I noted that I had already done what you are now recommending.... Not helpful at all, thanks anyway. I'll find an answer elsewhere

My reply to you was the first step in the fault finding process (identifying if the usb connection to the DVR was working correctly...) It would take a number of replies to come up with the final answer but understand if you have found an alternate source of assistance.
