I am installing a JV-TV 2070 for a client. It won't go to quad screen Serial #070100104the manual showsan extra push buttonon the face listed as #12 on the front veiw in manual What is wrong?
Optional Information: Make: Jwin Model: JV-tv2070 Already Tried: the manual states that the unit should go to quad screen when powered up. I tried pushing buttons 5&6 on the front veiw page 1 of manual
Hello - are you connected to SPOT monitor output (if you version supports) or are you using just this monitor? Please verify that you can get all 4 pictures in the sequnce mode. Depending on your version, there *should* be a button icon that has 4 squares for quad view, some in this series requires cycling the seqeunce advance button to get to Quad screen. Please advise and thank you for your time.
Using only this monitor with 4 cameras
all 4 cameras sequence
no advance button listed in manual
manual botton list diferent than unit 5
I cannot locate a manual on this, however from memory, the system either has a QUAD button (your 5,6) OR the sequence button gets pressed until a QUAD screen displays -- if this is not working, please re fresh power and re try/
neither method works
Can you please tell me what your 2070 front panel switches are labled, other than the 1-7 reference from the manual? Also, are you setting this up for intercom and video?
s1 s2 s3 s4 audio
auto time and avolume slide
Quad will not wor in "intercom" mode -- each camera must be selected full screen in order to use intrecom for that channel.
I looked at the monitor this morning
#1 button has 2s above and c1 below, #2 button has 5S above and C2below, #3button has 10S above C3 below,#4 button 15S above and C4 below, #5 button has 20S above and TALK below, #6 botton Hasauto written below, #7 button has time written below, and a sllide switch is next which says volume. I am unable to switch off volume by pushing talk button even though indicator light goes out. the cameras are plugged into the D|IN connectors. I hope this information helps
Very strange. How old is the unit? Did you power up with NO cameras and see if it defaults to quad? Do you have a second monitor To attachto Video Out ? Also , if you power "up", no cameras do you get "video loss" displayed? Please advise and thank you for your time. BTW, the buttons above the camer buttons selects the the "dwell time " (delay) between camera switching when in sequence mode, so do all 4 cameras sequence as well?
I don't have a second monitor. I will disconnet cameras and see what happens. I do not know the age but looks brand new, still in original packaging.
Hello again, please advise as this is straight forward on this device - Quad default UNLESS switched to sequence or intercom --
so do all 4 cameras sequence as well?
doesn't go to quad. Is it possible this unit is not quad? says modelJV-TV2070? serial # XXXXXXXXX The box says quad. I unplugged all cameras and the lights on c1 thru c4 alternated in sequence no on screen mesage.
It IS advertised as Quad. But you this is also supposed to show "loss of video" on the screen when either in quad mode OR sequencing mode. This is the "test" to confirm same, also, being that the intercome (per you last post) is not locking in, I suspect a bad unit, as most of the primary functionality (deafault quad, video loss display, etc.) is a DSP function, and the DIN jast passes video. ANY monitor (or TV with LINE IN (Yellow) BNC to RCA cable) connected to VID OUT will confirm this. I hope this has helped , please advise and thank you for your time
audio is always on and sequences. I will attach to a tv and see what happens
Audio on will not allow for Quad mode as it is "locked" on the camera selected for intercom functions. Please let me know how the external monitor functions, and thanks for your time
