Can you tell me the age of my Pennco Gas Boiler. The S/N is 1713 and the type is 324WA. A HVAC guy said that I would have a hard time, getting the pilot light controller assembly if it would ever go bad. He suggested that I get a new furnace. I've been in this house for 9 months, no problem with the furnace over the winter and the furnace did pass inspection for CO when I bought the house.

Toilet seat removal

I just noticed that I have just got very little room between the toilet and the wall just about putting my hands through to hold the toilet seat nuts. At the moments the I can turn the nuts but I was just wondering if the nut jammed can I cut the shaft from the top?

We recently purchased a home and wanted to replace the vanity in the bathroom. Once we pulled the old one out we found a whole bunch of black mold in the floor... after ripping the drywall out, and part of the floor we found more. On the wall facing the outside there is mold in the insulation and there seems to be a leak coming from the window frame as well as where the original builders missed the studs with their nails (moisture coming through the nail holes). It seems that the previous owners also had a leak in their toilet as well and there is mold beneath the subfloor underneath the toilet. We attempted the rip up the plywood floor to replace it and accidentally fell through the ceiling.... but thats another story. Our question is: Is there a product that we can apply to the inside wall where the leaks are to seal that?
