I just bought a sentry safe and this morning when we tried

I just bought a sentry safe and this morning when we tried to open it it would not open. We had the correct code and the green light came on. Model # EF3428E
JA: Just to clarify, have you double-checked the code? And what is the exact make and model of your machine?
Customer: Yes we double checked. The make is SentrySafe and the model # is EF3428E
JA: How long has this been going on? What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: It happened just this morning and we used the key to open it. That's about it.
JA: Anything else you want the electronics expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: I don't think so.

Hi .............maybe you can try this..........

1-) pull the handle up

2-) insert the key and turn it to open

3-) turn the combination dial two full turns to the left to clear if this doesn't work try it next time to the right 2 full turns

4-) turn it to the right to your first combination number

5-) one full turn left and then to your next number

6-) last turn to the right to the next number

you might have to turn the key last then try the handle......you can try a few different sequences

Thank you for your help but I think we figured it out. The batteries were low and we kept trying to open it every minute or so. I read where it will not open after too many tries. We replaced the batteries and left it alone for awhile and then it opened fine. Thanks anyway.
